Group exhibition 'Homo Viator' opens on 10th October
Curated by Zhimin Zhang, Founder of Willow Art Space
Willow Art Space is excited to present Homo Viator, a group exhibition that explores humanity as the eternal traveler. Time and space serve as the forms of this journey, while hope stands as the supreme force that keeps us ”en route.“ As human beings move between the past and the future, navigating in-between spaces, Homo Viator emerges as a key figure in contemporary society—offering a sense of identity and driving discovery and dialogue within the context of globalization and mobilization.
In conjunction with the exhibition, a series of artist-led workshops will engage local communities and schools. These workshops will explore local folklore and storytelling, fostering a rich dialogue between art and community.
The exhibition will run from 10th to 24th October 2024, hosted by Noiascape, an organization working at the intersection of design, development, and space curation.
