Well, as time goes, we’re heading into the final part of my post-graduate studies here at the Royal College of Art here in London. All is happening at a really good pace, not saying fast or so, just at a full pace as these things tend to unfold.
Oh, I (almost) forgot to share that four of my recent works on paper were part of the group exhibition titled Abstract On Paper from 1st February to 6th April at Amart Gallery in Vienna, Austria. It was a great experience and honour to show my works alongside names such as Pierre Soulages, Kenneth Noland, Antoni Tápies, Joan Miró or Austrian artists including Maria Moser or Joanna Gleich. Below are three of my works from this exhibition.
But currently my full focus is naturally on my RCA studio time and for the full month of May I intend to work on paintings to be shown in the second half of June as my final RCA show. The dates are already known, so it is with great pleasure to share them:
RCA’s Public Facing Exhibition - previously widely known as RCA Grad Show - will be open to the public from 20th to 23rd June.
📍Royal College of Art, Battersea Campus, SW11 4AY London
During these 4 days (yeah, it’s really short but also really busy and full on) the Painting Building along with the whole School of Arts and Humanities is open and filled with hundreds of works of incredible diversity. It’s a real thrill to be a part of it.
Well, as always, more to come, more to experience and wonder about. For now I’ll finish by sharing a recently finished painting of mine accompanied by a few indirectly linked lines I noted down.
Away from the world when it feels too much
Yet
Coming back to ask for more
I’ve seen that many times
Yet
A wish for elsewhere resurfaces

Before I Leave
Feel Again

I don’t want to go anywhere for now
But can’t stay either
